Before you buy, check these 3 things or it’ll cost you more later:
1. Co-extruded vs hollow core: Co-extruded has a protective cap and won’t fade/split as fast. Hollow is cheaper but weaker. At £10, ask which type it is.
2. Weight: A solid 25mm thick board should feel heavy. Lightweight = more filler, less durability.
3. Clips included? WPC needs hidden clips + starter/finishing trims. Those add £8-£12/m² if not included.
For grey and walnut, both are popular and hide dirt well. Walnut shows less dust than grey, grey stays cooler in sun.
Where did you spot this deal? If it’s a UK trade supplier or clearance, it could be a steal. If it’s no-name from Amazon/eBay, just verify it’s UV-stabilised so the walnut doesn’t turn orange and the grey doesn’t go chalky in 1 summer.
